With a new London venue, new celebrity speakers and bags of advice, demonstrations, products and a huge range of exhibitors, this year’s Edible Garden Show promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

Perfect for Pocket Farm readers the award winning show will boast a multitude of attractions to interest gardeners, cooks, smallholders and self-sufficiency aficionados alike.

Naomi Schillinger will teach you how to grow produce in the smallest spaces

Perfectly timed for the beginning of the growing season, expect to find tips on keeping bees, raising chickens, brewing beer, saving energy, healthy baking and dishing up delicious meals using home grown ingredients. This year’s show will have a special emphasis on green energy.

Celebrity speakers will include Christine Walkden (picutured top), gardening guru on the BBC One Show, trendy forager and wild food expert Mark Lloyd and author Naomi Schillinger, author and expert in growing your own in small spaces. Regular EGS speaker and TV presenter James Wong (below) will also be there continuing his campaign to get the nation growing exotic edibles.

The Edible Garden Show will be staged at Alexandra Palace, London, from 28-30 March, 2014. Tickets cost £16 on the door (£12 in advance) with concessions for children and seniors.
